Telling the story of the daring exploits of the 13 Operation Oblivion operatives posed a visual challenge for the production team. No video footage or images existed outside what the operatives themselves had 'smuggled out'. The solution was enlisting the help of top Canadian animator Kevin Micallef (Detetionaire, Eight Crazy Nights, The Simpsons) to put together an animation team that could bring the operatives to life for audiences.
