Operation Oblivion petition is in the House!
MP Rick Norlock (Northumberland-Quinte West) will present the petition on Friday, April 4, 2014 during 'Question Period' in the House of Commons beginning at 11 AM.
The petition asks the Canadian Government for a permanent exhibit in the Canadian War Museum to honor the Operation Oblivion operatives who risked their lives in the jungles of the Pacific to serve Canada, and in the process freed hundreds of POW's during WWII.
We thank the thousands of Canadians who, in a few weeks of the broadcast of the documentary film on OMNI 2, signed the petition pledging their support! Canadians care about their Veterans! Thank you Rick Norlock for your support!
During the coming months we plan more readings in the 'House' and we ask Canadians to continue our mission at www.operationoblivion.com/join-the-mission
We hope this step will bring us closer to recognizing these Canadian War Heroes!
